The sites can be used by elected councillors and candidates; we can help you to develop your site so that it is best suited to your requirements.
All ALDC members are entitled to a free MyCouncillor site. They can be set up for individuals or groups and we’ll work with you to set up a title and web address.
By setting up a website, you’ll be able to direct residents to an online place where you can explain your ideas in more detail. You have the benefit of keeping it updated regularly in real time. It’s a great place to host detailed content that you may wish to link to emails or social media posts.
We are delighted to introduce a brand new MyCouncillor design. We call this the ‘Flow’ design and it provides a very sleek and stylish webpage. You can click to see an example here:
You can see some examples of our other designs here:
- Will Forster (business card design)
- Cllr Howard Sykes (blogging site)
We also have a range of articles to help you develop your site. For more information, please get in touch or request your MyCouncillor site (for ALDC members only).
Following the Election Law changes to online imprints, introduced in Autumn 2023, we now recommend that you include an imprint on the front page of your mycouncillor site at all times. Find out how to insert an imprint to your site here. More information about the legal imprint changes can be found here.
