Party Conferences

We provide training for campaigners, candidates and councillors at each of the party’s conferences – Federal (Spring and Autumn), Welsh and Scottish – alongside exhibiting and running fringe events. We publish details in advance of each conference via our website and weekly emails.

Motivate Training Days

We run free virtual Motivate Training Days on Saturdays, 9.30am – 2pm, featuring campaign training and bespoke support. All Lib Dem members are welcome; you don’t have to be an ALDC member. You need to register to attend. Once registered, we will email you a link to join the meeting which we host online via Zoom. In non-pandemic times, Motivates are physical events held across Britain.

Webinars

We run free webinars each week covering topics such as agents and local party officers, Affinity Publisher and Connect. We also run webinars specially designed for Lib Dems based in Scotland and Wales. Sessions last about 45 minutes and they start at 12.30pm or 6:30pm. All Lib Dem members are welcome; you don’t have to be an ALDC member. You need to register to attend. Once registered, we will email you a link to join the meeting which we host online via Zoom.

Specialist Training Days

In non-Covid times, we deliver day-long training events across the country focussing on a specialist topic such as Affinity Publisher, Agent Training, ALDC Artworker, or Connect. A lot of these topics are covered in our weekly bitesize webinars (we’re running three sets a week at present).
