We have already had some spectacular by-election wins this year. In North Devon we won a seat from the Conservatives having not stood a candidate in the ward in the previous election, while in Liverpool we recorded our first council by-election win (and Labour’s first defeat) since 1997!
Fighting a full campaign in any council by-election vacancy – against any opposition – can achieve amazing results.
