Two exciting opportunities have come up to work for ALDC. We are currently hiring for a new Development Officer (England) and an Campaigns and Communications Intern based at our office in Salford.
Development Officer (England)
We are recruiting a new Development Officer for England following the election of Zoe Franklin, MP for Guildford, in July.
The role will support and develop Liberal Democrat councillors, council groups and activists at a local level, to help them effectively represent their communities and to enable them to campaign and win local by elections, and build towards future elections.
If you are an experienced Lib Dem campaigner, and you want to join the ALDC team that has helped us achieve amazing gains in local government, we want to hear from you.
Deadline for applications is 7 August 2024 with online interviews on the week beginning 12 August 2024.

Campaigns and Communications Intern
The post is jointly based at our national headquarters on Salford Quays and working with one of our partner local parties (Greater Manchester).
Your time will be split between driving campaigning on the doorstep and phone with local parties, and working in ALDCs’ offices helping with communications, administration and learning about campaigning.
