Campaign emails in the run up to an election are a brilliant way to deliver you campaign message to voters. You can target emails to specific groups (such as postal voters) and they have the advantage of being completely free.
Systems such as the bulk email function on Connect, or Mailchimp, are the favoured way for Lib Dem campaigners to store email addresses and send communications to voters. Remember each individual you send Lib Dem campaign emails to must have given you permission to do so (for instance by returning a leaflet with a Fair Processing Notice).
The examples below are from Stockport Liberal Democrats and form a series of emails to be sent to residents during an election campaign. Like these examples a good campaign email should be short, get straight to the point, and have a subject title that draws people in.
You can download them and use them as templates and inspiration for your own area.
