One of the most effective campaigns you can run over the Summer is a Residents’ Survey.
Going to residents and directly asking them for their feedback, ideas and problems will both empower local people and also allow you to build a strong relationship with them.
There are a number of ways you can engage with residents through surveys.
You can factor an addressed Summer Survey Mailing into your literature campaign. ALDC and Election Workshop have templates and regular bulk buy deals for you to get addressed surveys with cover letters at a great price.
Knock and Drop Surveys are another popular way to engage with residents. Knocking on people’s doors and asking them to complete a short survey will get the highest number of responses and build even stronger relationships.
For any local issues survey that you do it is vital that you produce a Report Back Leaflet or Mailing on the findings of the survey and the actions you are taking as a result.
