In any successful election campaign it is vital to engage with ‘new voters’ – i.e. people who have appeared on the electoral register since the previous election. These could be people who have moved into the area, people who have recently turned 18, students, or residents on a new build estate.
‘New voters’ are unlikely to be aware of the Lib Dem presence in their community, so it is important to engage with them quickly and make sure they know we’re a credible force locally.
