Dear Colleagues,
The Liberal Democrat parliamentary education team with the LGA group are running a survey on the provision of services for children with Special Educational Needs and Disability. We are very concerned that cuts to school, local authority and health budgets are leading to significant reductions in the education and care available to children with SEND.
We would be enormously grateful if councillors from around the country would be willing to send this letter (Word and PDF versions), with its link to the survey, to Head Teachers, Chairs of Governors and Special Needs Co-ordinators in your area so we can get as many responses to the survey as possible. Please also fill in the survey yourselves if you feel able to!

It would be helpful if the letter could go to teachers and schools as soon as possible and certainly before the end of term, which is in a couple of weeks, as the deadline for completing the survey is 31 August 2018.
