New Members of the ALDC and ASLDC Team
ALDC is delighted to announce that two new members will be joining our staff team from the start of 2016.
Councillor Abi Bell will be joining the team as Development Officer in England and Wales.
Councillor Peter Barrett will be joining the team as Development Officer in Scotland.
Abi is our former Group Leader in Hull and currently the Lib Dem Lead on the Cities and Regions Board of the Local Government Association. For the last three years she has been the Course Leader for the Liberal Democrat ‘Next Generation’ Programme. Peter is our Group Leader on Perth and Kinross Council, and also leads the Lib Dem Group on COSLA (Convention of Scottish Local Authorities).
The post in Scotland is for the Association of Scottish Liberal Democrat Councillors (ASLDC) working towards the Scottish local elections in 2017. In England and Wales Abi joins our existing team of Development Officers, James Baker, Neil Fawcett and Richard Cole.
