HOW TO SAVE YOUR LOCAL
The Campaign for Real Ale and the LGA Lib Dem Group are working on a special event on how to protect pubs through the planning system. The event will focus on how to nominate your local pub as an Asset of Community Value (ACV) and how local planning policies can be used to safeguard pubs in your Ward.
The Liberal Democrats played a critical role in ensuring pubs were at the forefront of the political agenda during the last Parliament, having secured greater protection for pubs nominated as ACVs before the last election.
The seminar will feature both speakers from CAMRA and the Lib Dems. The seminar will be held on Monday 23rd November from 12 noon until 3pm at Local Government House, Smith Square, London, SW1P 3HZ. It will be free to attend – but we do need you to book and confirm your attendance.
