ALDC and our colleagues at the LGA Liberal Democrat Group have come together to give Liberal Democrats in Local Government a joint home in the SECC exhibition area.

Visitors can pick up copies of the Lib Dem HQ 2015 Field Campaign Manual and ALDC’s new Election Law Handbook throughout Conference.
MyCouncillor 1-2-1’s
ALDC officers (and laptops!) will be on-hand to answer any questions about the redesigned MyCllr network of websites. Members who have experienced any technical difficulties, who are curious about the new sites, or who would like to create their own site, can do so from the ALDC stand.
Focus Wall
A display of great local party literature from across the country for visitors to get inspired by. 2014 Campaigner Award winning artwork will be highlighted when the winners are announced at the ALDC AGM on Saturday 4th. We will be adding to the wall throughout Conference week, so bring us some examples of your own work!
Political Advice
Members of ALDC’s political staff will be on hand to discuss local circumstances and offer political advice to ALDC members, and also to catch up with events elsewhere.
Membership Enquiries
As always, we welcome new members who wish to join at Conference. Also, our staff will be on hand to answer any membership enquiries from current or potential members, including details of our first-year 50% discount and the collective benefits of ‘Group Membership’ for council groups and local parties.
LGA Liberal Democrat Group
Members of LGA Lib Dem Group Office staff and leading Lib Dem Group members will be available to discuss how we can work with ALDC to support your group and the work the LGA is doing on issues like the “First 100 Days”, which is campaigning for greater devolution of power to Local Government. Speak to us to hear how you can get involved with the work of the Lib Dem Group, and for an update on the our lobbying work both within the party and as part of the local government sector.
