We are currently making the transition to a much simpler and accessible method for members to access and download the materials that ALDC makes available via the ALDC File Library. A legacy from the previous system is a second login (for security purposes) which we are in the process of changing.
Whilst the new, simplified process is put into place, this quick note will guide you through downloading materials through links in both our emails and from our website, and instructions on access to browsing the File Library directly.
Via Email
In our emails, we often include links for content that can be downloaded by ALDC members.
Before clicking on a link in an email, access the internet and visit aldc.org. Sign in, and visit the Services Page. Select File Library and follow the link to the File Library. This will open in a second screen, and there will be a second login in the top-right corner. Enter your details again, and click ‘login’.
You are now logged into the File Library and clicking on any link in the email that you have received will commence your download.
Via aldc.org
In various website articles, we provide links to interesting or useful files. The process to download them is the same as above. Make sure you are logged into the ALDC website, and go to ‘Services’ and ‘File Library’ to launch the Library in a new window. Complete the second login in the top-right corner.
Now that you are logged in, you will be able to download any links that you find in members-only web articles.
Direct Browsing
To see what the ALDC File Library has to offer, log in to aldc.org. Go to the ‘Services’ section and launch the File Library. In the new window, complete the second log in in the top-right corner.
Now that you are logged in, you will be able to browse all of the contents of the File Library using the network of menus and sub-menus in the centre of the screen.
Most template files come in two versions, .pdf and Pageplus (.ppp), we have found it easier to download .pdf’s for preview purposes and to download the .ppp’s of any files that you would like to customise.
