ALDC’s Annual General Meeting took place on Saturday 23rd September at the Grand Hotel, Brighton. We were pleased to welcome roughly 180 members of the Association, one of our best-ever attendances!

Reports

Chief Executive Tim Pickstone reported on ALDC’s work over the year, and on the new Development Officer roles and their work with local parties across the country. Treasurer Mike Ward gave ALDC’s financial report, which will be made available for members in our online File Library.

Membership Fee

It was proposed by the Management Committee, and unanimously passed, that ALDC membership fees be frozen at their current level.

Retiring Officers

The retiring Management Committe were thanked for their work, as were the officers now stepping down from their posts; Cllrs Kath Pinnock (Chair), Mike Ross (Vice-Chair), Claire Hudson (Vice-Chair), Sarah Boad (Secretary), and Mike Ward (Treasurer).

Constitutional Amendment

An amendment to permit e-voting in the upcoming Management Committee elections was passed.
