The Annual General Meeting of ALDC takes place in Birmingham on Saturday 17 September 2001, 8.15pm, ICC Hall C (this is the main Conference Centre, immediately after the Rally). 

 

The meeting is open to all members of ALDC, there is some wine and soft drinks available on arrival. Immediately after the formal business we are joined by the Party President Tim Farron who will present the 2011 Campaigner Awards.

Minutes of the Annual General Meeting 18 September 2008

The last Annual General Meeting of ALDC was held last year in Liverpool. The meeting will be asked to approve the minutes as a correct record. 

 

Report of the Management Committee 2010-2011

A summary report of the Management Committee is included with the calling notice for the AGM.  

ALDC’s Chief Executive will introduce the report and take any questions from members. If you’re not able to attend please let us know any questions you would like to raise in advance. 

 

Accounts 2010

Mike Ward, ALDC’s Treasurer will present ALDC’s Audited Accounts for 2010. These can be downloaded here

 

In 2010 ALDC recorded a small deficit of just over £800. Mike will take any questions from members. If you’re not able to attend please let us know any questions you would like to raise in advance. 

 

Auditors 2011

Members will vote on the appointment of Riley and Co as ALDC’s Auditors for 2011. 

 

Membership Fees 2012

The Annual General Meeting needs to set the membership fees for the subsequent calendar year. 

 

The current membership rate (for 2010) is £80.00, with an additional £10 for a joint membership. The discount for Group Members is 12%. Former Silver Members (prior to 2009) pay £68. 

 

The proposal from the Management Committee for the membership fee for 2012 is: 

 

Membership fee of £82, with an extra £10 for joint membership. The discount for Group Members is 12%.
