ALDC is offering further training for next year’s local elections with a Flying Start day in Taunton. This event is are organised jointly with the regional parties and the Campaigns Department and offer basic campaign skills for new activists as well as useful refreshers for experienced campaigners.
The programme includes basic campaign skills as well as more advanced skills, including Focus writing, winning organisation, canvassing and how to get out your vote. There will also be some mentoring of groups from different council areas to help you improve your campaign plans.
Saturday 8th January at Richard Huish College, South Road, Taunton, TA1 3DZ from 9.30 for 10am to 4pm. The cost is £10 for the day including lunch, and there is a 3 for 2 offer for groups.
