There are just TWO weeks to go until polling day in the Bedford Mayoral by-election. We have a real chance of winning thanks to our excellent candidate Dave Hodgson. Dave will be well known to many Liberal Democrat members thanks to his former role as the party’s Membership Development Officer. He is now the Liberal Democrat Group Leader on Bedford Council, where we overtook the Conservatives to become the largest group on the council in June. The campaign has also been helped by disarray in the Conservative camp – more details here.
The campaign has just taken delivery of 50,000 tabloid newspapers and they have a letter to postal voters that MUST get out ASAP. There’s more stuff happening after that of course! The campaign could really do with your help with delivering. If you can’t come and deliver please email admin@DaveForMayor.org.uk to ask for some phone canvassing.
