ALDC’s fringe programme at the Party’s Autumn Federal Conference kicked off with a packed meeting on proportional representation for local government.
The meeting, jointly organised with the Electoral Reform Society, looked at the success of STV for local elections in Scotland, and the case for rolling this out across Britain.
Speakers were Willie Rennie MP, Peter Black AM, Katy Wright from the ERS with ALDC’s Vice-Chair Cllr Paul Sample in the chair.
