At Federal Conferences, ALDC provide a comprehensive programme of training modules, with courses tailored for a variety of interests and aptitudes. Our training offer is usually based around an ‘Essential Skills’ series of modules for new and intermediate campaigners and an ‘Activists Network’ series of workshops that offer specialist discussion around more involved themes.
We also provide training events based around key themes (for example, in 2012 they were ‘E-Campaigning’ and ‘Local Government Policy’) and offer ‘drop-in’ sessions where ALDC officers can discuss specific issues and circumstances with members in a less formal setting.
