G8 Winning Wards 2013
Grants (average £300 per ward) for wards with elections in May 2013.
Who can apply?
Areas with elections in May 2013.
What will we fund?
We will fund wards where G8 funding could make a real difference between losing and winning in May 2013. That is we will fund:
-
a ward we are defending where there is a major risk we will lose the seat, but a realistic chance that it can be held, given the right level of activity.
-
a ward we are aiming to gain where there is a realistic chance that it can be gained, given the right level of activity.
We want you to target wards effectively - so we will only fund a maximum of two wards in any Parliamentary Constituency.
What will we exact you to do?
We want to see a campaign plan, of activity and targets from now until polling day. We want you to deliver on this campaign plan and we will ask you to report to us every quarter, with a very simple online survey of the key things you have achieved (literature delivered, doors knocked on and voter ID gained). You need to be using Connect to enable us to monitor this effectively.
An example campaign plan will be made available from ALDC in our Weekly Briefing on 18 July 2012.
What will we give you?
We will give each ward a cash grant of an average of £300 per ward - depending on the size of your ward. This will be paid in two instalments - as long as we get the monitoring information in from you.
Online Application Form here. Deadline for applications is 3rd September 2012.
